Secure Electronic Medical Records
Forsight Vision was one of the first practices to adopt EMR (electronic medical records) to better serve our patients. With this system we are able to retrieve all of your exam information in the matter of seconds instead of spending time on the phone searching for paper charts. Our system is completely HIPAA compliant and our patient’s information and security is our top priority.

Contact Lens Fittings
Our doctors welcome hard to fit cases. We specialize in refitting patients who have been told previously that they are not candidates for contact lenses. Especially, patients who have discontinued wearing contacts due to poor vision, discomfort, or inconvenience.

Computer Visual Field Examination
Computer Visual Field Examination is one of the most important clinical functions of a thorough eye exam. It refers to the testing of the peripheral vision of the eye. Analysis of data from the visual field computer allows us to construct a map of the visual responses of your retina and other neurological tissues. This detailed map is called a visual field.
We use this information to give our doctors essential information about major blindness-causing diseases. Visual field testing is one of the primary tools in diagnosing and monitoring glaucoma as well as many other ocular and neurological diseases. This comprehensive visual field test allows us at Forsight Vision for the earliest detection and close monitoring of the progress of these diseases, significantly enhancing the chances for successful treatment.
Visual field testing is a fast and easy way to ensure that your eye examination includes the most sophisticated testing available. Computer visual field testing can identify subtle problem areas long before symptoms arise or serious damage is done.
Digital Retinal Photography
Our office is proud to provide you with one of the most advanced diagnostic procedures in eye care today, digital retinal photography. These color photographs of the retina may be taken with or without the use of dilating drops. The importance of retinal photography can be compared to the importance of the dental X-ray or EKG.
This special procedure immediately and accurately reveals any defects in retinal integrity and aids in diagnosing many eye-related problems, such as glaucoma and retinal degeneration and many systemic problems, such as diabetes and hypertension. These valuable photos are saved in your permanent file and used for accurate comparison throughout your lifetime.
Corneal Topography
Through the progression of disease surface alteration by contact lens wear, or by accidental injury, the cornea (clear front window of the eye) may depart from a normal shape or contour. When this alteration to the cornea is subtle, testing can be performed to examine or map the corneal surface. Corneal topography uses light reflexes and sophisticated computer analysis to obtain a surface contour map. This contour map will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal pathology (disease).
Corneal topography is a modern invaluable tool to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of many corneal diseases and to plot alterations in curvature due to contact lenses. As part of our mission at Forsight Vision using the latest technology to provide the most comprehensive care for our patients, this is an invaluable tool we use to measure subtle changes in the eye's shape for all of our contact lens wearing patients.
