Meet The Staff
Dr. Todd Cohan, O.D.
Dr. Cohan is a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in visual science and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometrists (ICO) and was the sole recipient of ICO’s Development Award for excellence in vision therapy and pediatrics.
He practices full scope optometry, providing treatment and management of ocular diseases, corneal refractive therapy, and contact lenses and vision therapy. Maintaining his strong commitment to vision development, Dr. Cohan continues to specialize in pediatric vision care programs, including particular expertise in vision therapy and the diagnosis and treatment of learning related vision problems.
Dr. Cohan is an associate member of the College of Vision Optometrists Management. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. In 2006, he received an invitation to participate in the Management Business Academy, a special program sponsored by Varilux and Ciba offered exclusively to the top one percent of the nations optometric practices. As a top one percent optometric practice practitioner, Dr. Cohan also participated in the Ciba Vision VIP program and facility tour. Under training with Kraff Eye Institute, he is a certified co-manager of Lasik pre- and post-operative care.
He was featured in a Pioneer Press cover story on vision therapy and has also been featured in articles published by iParenting.com. He is a regular guest speaker at suburban Chicago public and private schools on the topic of vision therapy and works closely with school educators on identifying and treating learning-related vision problems in school-age children.
Dr. Cohan lives in Buffalo Grove with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing tennis, exercising, attending sporting events, traveling and spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Kathy Delgadillo, O.D.
Dr. Kathy is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometrists (ICO) where she was her class representative for four years. She received clinical honors as well as the prestigious colleague of the year award.
She practices full scope optometry, providing treatment and management of ocular diseases, corneal refractive therapy, and contact lenses.
Dr. Delgadillo is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and participates in the Infant See program, providing comprehensive eye examinations for children under the age of one. Under training with TLC Vision, she is a certified co-manager of Lasik pre- and post-operative care.
Dr. Delgadillo lives in Round Lake with her husband and daughter. She enjoys photography, volleyball and a variety of outdoor activities.
